“First of all, Benedita and Marc are fantastic hosts. They’re very responsive with attention to detail, easy going and made an effort to create a memorable experience. Even with the pictures provided, the quality of the venue exceeded our expectations. The interior design is modern and very tasteful, the apartment was freshly renovated and had a very high standard. The bed has a high quality mattress and a canopy, which we didn’t use because there were no insects in the apartment. During the whole stay (14 days) the heated pool was in excellent condition, we’ve been swimming in the morning and late in the evening (it has very beautiful light). To our surprise there were restaurants in walking distance, which didn’t look very good on the first impression but were very delicious and had very friendly staff (thanks for the recommendation, we weren’t able to find a better Piri-Piri chicken at other restaurants, so we visited A Rampa 3 times). The only downside I can think of is the missing washing machine and even this was no problem at all as there were washing machines next to the supermarket in Monchique which take 28 minutes to run (a clothes rack is provided by the hosts). We would book this venue again without a doubt.”
