Who we are

After 30 years of living and working together in the Netherlands and spending our free time in Portugal, we – Benedita Cocheno (a native of Portugal) and Marc de Roy (a Dutchman), decided to make the permanent move to Portugal. Our dream of creating a lovely and intimate guest accommodation offering maximum comfort in a peaceful natural setting, has been realised. We purposely chose a setting which was peaceful but not isolated. 

Within half an hour our guests can be at the beach and there are shops and restaurants just minutes away. We are proud of our Monchique location in the green heart of the Algarve, which ticks all the boxes and more.

Pirilampo is especially suited to hikers and nature lovers and also for those of you who, after a day at the beach, appreciate winding down in ultimate peace and quiet. Pirilampo is not far from the spectacular beaches of the mondaine south coast or the unspoiled beaches of the west coast. And, Pirilampo lies on the famous 225 kilometer long hiking trail Via Algarviana, traversing the Algarve from east to west just north of the south coast, through natural reserves and small villages. Back at Pirilampo, there is ample room for you to create your own place in the sun or shade, by the salt-water Infinity swimming pool, on your own private terrace or in our woods, all of which look out onto the hills and valley out to the sea.
